And? Perez is hardly gaining. When Max comes out of the pits he will be 3 seconds faster a lap.chrisc90 wrote: ↑22 May 2022, 16:03Tvetovnato wrote: ↑22 May 2022, 16:01And now Red Bull destroys Perez race right in front of everyones eyes to secure Max the win, without anyone batting an eye.
Max will need to pit again. Checo can probably reach the end.
Usually their is claims of butler, fake etc, when a team orders a driver over early in the season. Why should Max be exempt.101FlyingDutchman wrote: ↑22 May 2022, 16:05It’s well known where your allegiances are…Tvetovnato wrote: ↑22 May 2022, 16:01And now Red Bull destroys Perez race right in front of everyones eyes to secure Max the win, without anyone batting an eye.
Team orders in F1 have been at play forever. Wouldn’t surprise me if they did protect the championship charge on a day where LEC retires.
Sure, but I guess we should wait until the race is over before drawing conclusions there.f1jcw wrote: ↑22 May 2022, 16:08Usually their is claims of butler, fake etc, when a team orders a driver over early in the season. I wouldn’t want team orders either. Proper racing would be far preferred. But if they have given it i can understand it. Not heard so yet. At the moment it’s just the offset strategy so let’s see what happens?f1jcw wrote: ↑22 May 2022, 16:08Usually their is claims of butler, fake etc, when a team orders a driver over early in the season. 6 lap newer tyres for max who has intermittent DRS against a faster RB than the Merc.Tvetovnato wrote: ↑22 May 2022, 16:05And? Perez is hardly gaining. Exactly. Depending on which driver gets the service, the reaction is quite different.f1jcw wrote: ↑22 May 2022, 16:08Usually their is claims of butler, fake etc, when a team orders a driver over early in the season.
