Okay cool. All time on mediums. Wow,all decent cars doing 1-24's even though we have no idea about fuel loads.

MSC is doing 1-24's & 1-25's consistently NOW which is GOOD.

Kimi would be eating ice cream somewhere. So no need to bother at all. ;)

Autosport was quoted saying that "Alonso and Hamilton went purple in S1 then immediately backed off for the last two sectors" Is that a clear case of sandbagging?

If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

Ok , fair enough about lotus.
And what about Caterham ? On their tweets it said 2 hours ago :
MyCaterhamF1

A problem for Heikki stopped him out on track. Won't know what the issue is until the car's back in the garage which it is right now

Do you have the sector times of those laps by any chance? At least we'll have some idea what times they are doing. We only know that they are on medium tyres.

Yes he went off the track and they had to retrieve the car.

If we could get the purple sector times and add them up we would have an good indication about the real speed and not the sandbagging like you correctly think.

Riccardo and (maybe)Hulkenburg are the only ones near the top that have used softs. Don't forget they brought the red branded super-softs that they didn't have last wek although I dont think anyone has used them

I guess what he meant was, they are only revealing a fraction of their true potential by doing a purple 1st sector and then backing off for the entire lap.

That's pretty obvious. No one would bother doing a complete flying lap, not at least now.

I don't get all this Kimi and ice cream stuff.
I thought Kimi was the Iceman and not the Ice Cream Man?
Well it was comment based on the 2009 Malaysian GP. Kimi was seen eating ice cream in the garage after he retired from the race.
