Ferarri are doing constantly MID to LOW fuel runs. Most of their runs are in 1-25's,1-26's & stuff.

Barely any 1-29's & 1-30's.

Ferrari is not having a good day at the office. A lot of instalation laps and the only covererd 60 odd laps today. Also Mclaren en Lotus are having issues. So of the topteams only Mercedes and Red Bull are stable. Ferrari en McLaren still having issues on the last test week. This is all playing in the hands of Red Bull again. Ferrari is still making wholesale changes on the last test days. They losing an awful lot of track time because of that. Quite because Alonso think they only understand 20% of the car.

Would they be allowed to have a movable exhaust? Not for aero, but if they want to blow/warm the tires, and then have the exhaust tips move away from pointing at the tires, say after 30 seconds or something.

And some hope for Mercedes. The car is DOWNRIGHT shitty with tyres. Eats it up. Now Steady Improvement. Only 2s loss over 10 Laps. That is better than loosing 3.5-4s over 7-8 Laps.
It's the way they test today. Like explained in the Merc thread: ( viewtopic.php?p=315432#p315432 )

There was a Bawn quote from the end of the last test saying just that - they wanted to understand how best to utilise new tyres - push hard early or treat them nicely!

So it's just them testing how fast the degradation is . It's checking the metrics ..

Don't conclude to much about the timings or "degradation" if you don't know the actial testing-plan.

no, we don't know his fuel load, the hard tyres worked the same (without steep drop off) for McLaren and other teams.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Everyone should give up. Red Bull will win AGAIN. Webber lost 1s over a 16 Lap Run. This is ridiculous. Mclaren,Ferrari have no chance.

And Mercedes' needs to SOLVE tyre degradation issues to get 2nd or 3rd place. This is Rosberg's best stint in terms of tyre wear & he has lost almosyt 1s in 7 Laps. Compare that to Webber's 16 Lap run. This is completely Unheard of. What has Newey got in the bag???

McLaren havent been on the track for 2 hours now. There is a reason for that. Analyzing data isn't the reason because thats done at Woking on the fly. So there a nursing somekind of issue now. I don't know what it is, but there got to be one.

Lotus same story. Only completed 54 laps. The came out and whent straight back in.

No source but i think autosport will report on this when they write their test report at the end of this session.

Newey is an absolute genius. I give up. Adrian. You have won this year too. This is a WINNING car hands down.

Webber lost 1s over a 16 lap run. 16 Freaking Laps. This is unheard off. If he wanted maybe he could have 30 odd laps with that tyre. Red Bull is going to do 1 Whole Pit Stop less than the others.
