I think the McLaren's will be looking good for the win tomorrow..

Fastest in FP1, but more importantly the times Lewis & Jenson posted were right next to one an another, which suggests their running similar programs & the car is behaving good for both of them !!

Not long until Qualy though, I can't wait !!!

I think it's reasonable to conclude that W03 and MP4-27 have good slower speed traction. Both looking tidy in S3

I don't think you could isolate a single sector in Melbourne as needing traction

Rosberg was running heavier, he stated it. He was just ahead of the Bulls who both were said to look heavy. How much difference between Nico and the Bulls is up to question. Mercedes certainly looks good this year.

Mercedes did the same last year, run heavy on with one and lighter with the other. Looks like they are doing the same. If Mercedes wins, I will do 7 shots for each of Schumacher's championships...and I used to despise the guy! It'll be St Patrick's day after all.

Several drivers have mentioned Sauber looks good. I'm curious as to how good.

I heard something similar. One driver much more more full than the other. How much, we have no idea.

Nico 'Luscious Locks' Rosberg quote in Autosport wrote:"I especially learned a lot through high fuel running, which is good preparation for the race."
That was it. It doesn't mean he didn't run light as well, but I took it as he ran heavier and Schumacher lighter. They usually split the bill last year too.

I don't buy that that means heavier. Both could have been equally heavy.

Good ole Nico -- defensive as always and never missing the opportunity to explain why he was justifiably slower than Michael every single time it has ever happened.

Hulkenberg said he followed Seb around for many laps and Seb wasn't using DRS at all.

Definitely not when they made their best FP1 times, since both Mercedes were incredibly near the McLarens. He might be talking about FP2 though, since Schumacher was quite faster than him.

Their speedtrap and McLaren's are very low - I'd be very surprised if they did use DRS

Maybe Redbull had a problem with DRS this morning. Sure they will be in top 5 Sunday,
