Lewis was just saying it's hard to be within 2 seconds of the car in front and still make the stint length. This is probably the hardest circuit in terms of following another car...

Well Lewis needs to show what a great driver he is then tomorrow, you can't expect to start every race on pole.

Drivers will just take the corner wider next time.

Suzuka's an amazing track as always.
Thank you really doesn't really describe enough what I feel. - Vettel

Plus the short main straight as the only DRS point.

Ferrari not so hot through the S's.
Both Williams and Ricciardo faster through there.

Mercedes blistering in terms of straight line speed, Ferrari comparable to teams running old spec Mercedes.

- He was out-qualified by Mercedes engines in Monza. Let's modify those Ham's brake problem in Q in '14 then.
- 'This is probably the hardest circuit in terms of following another car." That's why it was very fortunate it was raining in '14 wasn't it?
- Fiction of Red Bull's driver program continues. Let's put it into Maldonado bashing thread's top 15 worst driving examples of '15 (without Maldonado and with better cars).
- Grosjean outqualified 3 quicker cars this time (Kvyat, Sainz, Hulk).

It is a good example of how you teach a driver to be focused and respect track limits.

Are we done with the tyre pressure theories and Vettel being contender for world championship? For suzuka, Pirelli raised the tyre pressures, 2 psi front and 1.5 psi rear, compared to last year.

When FP3 started, Mercs immediately went for long runs and Lewis was doing 1:38.8xx on hards. A while later, Ferrari started with 1:38.8xx on Mediums and RB were doing 1:40.0xx on Mediums. Unless it rains, it would be two Mercs fighting.

Lowe said the engine was worth 3 tenths, so if that's to be believed then Rosberg wouldnt have been on pole. It's all just speculation and all we know is that Lewis has a stellar qualifying record so far this season.

Verstappen gets a 3 place penalty for stopping his car in a dangerous position.

Shame the car stopped itself.
