I'm struggling to understand why you are being provocatively contrarian here.

It's not zero sum. They should sell tickets to both
Bahrain is the official test, they paid for that, that's a public test. FOM are more than welcome to hold an additional private test at Barcelona. Bahrain obviously would prefer that spectators from abroad would get on a plane and visit the test and Grand Prix in Bahrain.

Edit -- Obviously the Bahrain deal was signed first, and it would be improper for Formula One Management to renege on Bahrain's status as holder of the official open-to-the-public F1 pre-season test.
Right. I see the game you are playing. Have fun with it. Ignored.

Last day second half wet running.

Wonder how that would affect drivers schedule, race simulation program and would cars be driven much considering lack of spares for testing generally

These two pre season tests are going to crucial for Pirelli. With new generation of tyres with 18 inch wheels and a completely overhauled regulations, they have a massive responsibility on their shoulders. Their biggest challenge is to fully understand the tyre problems that Teams are going to face in these two tests and plan on managing the new compounds and constructions.

Henlo. I am a Canadian. I was just super excited to see some cars go zoom and came here to check if Barcelona was going to be available on f1tv. I am seeing my answer is a hard no or at least will not be live. Possibly some footage or highlights or something available?

I think it might actually kill me to wait another 2 bloody weeks because I am so excited to see these cars.

Press will be allowed in testing, therefore I would expect some footage at the end of each day… Not officially from F1, but from independent sites.

A few sites will also have a live blog going on about testing so that we can follow the action, but the reality is that the first days will probably have a lot of downtime with teams checking correlation, parts, settings, etc.

Despite all the reliability that we have seen over the past few years, I wonder who would struggle to start the first day of testing with glitches.
