Mercedes-AMG F1 W10 EQ Power+

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Weak but numerous vortecies are weaker but more consistent than one strong one. So with 5 weaker vortecies you can have the strength of 2 strong ones but if you lose 1 of 5 vortex in yaw it'll make a smaller difference than if you lose 1 of 2.

It is what I tried to explain vanely to the two above that continue to rate negatively my posts...
You seem to have more aero experience? Took classes?

I haven't down voted any of your posts. I see from your profile that you get lots of down votes using the word "antagonistic" or similar. Perhaps you could learn from that.

Two pages of discussion, nothing to do with Mercedes W10. Same old generic aero discussions and posters claiming to be aero experts.

Take your discussion to general aerodynamics discussion thread and leave the car thread alone.

Just a reminder to stay on topic rather than posting various aero theories. If you want to discuss aero, please do so on the aero threads.

Certainly looks like it, that's a guide vane over the top.

Will be interesting if they change the wing mirrors to hollow, because I think Ferrari used that and then scrapped it for this year.

The engine cover shown is exactly the same as it was in Baku, however the blisters around the rear suspension are now larger and closer together, meaning the bodywork in this region could be tighter and or the internal cooling system has been altered.

Apparently 50% of the car will be new.
