How is Perez still in that Red Bull? He is going to cost them 2nd in the WCC at this rate.... Surely there are discussions about putting Lawson in there after Mexico??
They should have fired Perez and promoted Daniel, then Liam could prove himself for the rest of the year at RB.
Not sure Daniel would have done any better, but I guess he probably wouldn't have been any worse!!
If I come across as blunt, I apologise, it's my ASD. Sometimes, like an F1 car aqua-planing, it gets out of my control.

He had better drives in the RB that Perez had in the RBR and didn’t crash all by himself.

Sergio seat gone. I've seem enough from Lawson. Yumi will have a very tough time getting the promotion!

Honey baddger wasn't known for tyre saving, but I can see him doing what Lawson did this race.

Agreed. Sergio has a disaster of a race overall.

Beaten by Russel who started from the pitlane.
Just 10s up the road from Lawson who was on his first F1 race, in a slower car.

There is definitely money invovled with Sergio and it's bigger than RedBull racing. Its more like RedBull Gmbh level of influence I suspect.

Completely agree on Sergio. Excellent race by Russell. Don't forget Liam is no stranger to F1 - 5 races and 2 points from 2023 (Netherlands, Italy, Singapore, Japan, Qatar).

It's high time Perez goes, Mexico would be an ideal send off.

Latest speculation from Italy - in 2025 Perez out, Lawson to RBR, Colapinto to VCARB. Article stipulates Tsunoda is not considered for RBR seat, while Bortoleto is favoured over Bottas in Audi Sauber

And they call it a stall. A STALL!

So all it took, was 1 race to get the next rumour mill going?

Not surprising, it was a Honey Badger‘esque drive. Liam absolutely nailed it.

Why is Hadjar not promoted to VCARB?

4 feature race F2 wins is reasonably impressive, albeit in Hadjar's second season of F2.

This is still every chance Hadjar could be F2 champ over Bortoleto too! (It's really silly that F2 season doesn't finish until Abu Dhabi.)

Then Red Bull can turf whoever is worse from Tsunoda or Hadjar (or just turf both anyway), for Linblad in 2026. If both Tsunoda and Hadjar are unimpressive, why not look to poach Colapinto to partner Linblad only then?

Does Hadjar lose out due to being French and having less backing and marketing value than Argentine Colapinto? :?:

Because Hadjar didn't do anything special in his debut year in F2, he lost to his teammate and only finished 14th with 55 points, which caused his morale to drop a lot. Now, almost magically, he has "improved" 500%, but it is also a consensus that the Campos team was the team that did best with the new F2 car.

In addition, he didn't impress the Redbull staff in the free practice and testing sessions he did last year.

Colapinto didn't beat his teammate. I think F1 is really missing Red Bull's old school talent churning. Red Bull should cycle through more drivers. The stars don't need time.

Colapinto beat his teammate (Hauger, who was F3 champion and is in his 3rd year in F2). Colapinto left Monza with 96 points, Hauger has 85.5 points now with 4 races (two weekends) more than the Argentinean. By the way, Hauger also was part of the Redbull Academy until the end of 2023.
