Mercedes looks quickest again. The mix with Williams, RB & even Mclaren looks tight. Ferrari was likely doing low fuel runs so I expect they are in that mix as well rather than as close to Mercedes as they looked. The shoot-out for 3rd in the race should be tight.

Williams looking strong on the long runs, overtaking is difficult though so they will need to be up there in qualifying, any problems with both Mercedes and I fancy Bottas to do a Ricciardo.

Do you guys think Pirelli should have brought the soft and medium tyres instead of the hardest ones?

I missed FP1 & 2 so I don't know how the F1 guys are taking it, but I've just watched a GP2 car go all the way through Parabolica with 2 wheels on the green stuff. So much for the old astroturf deterrent

at least it didn't seem to matter, as Lewis's FP1 times was still the fastest of the weekend so far, and their is nothing between lewis and Nico's FP2 times.

Lewis is pretty fast around here, I thinks it's goingto be one of those weekends where he's untouchable.

I have the feeling more bad luck is on the way for HAM. Hope I'm wrong.

Another easy victory for ROS is the last thing this championship needs.

The green stuff is just painted tarmac until the kerb on the exit of the corner. There some astroturf can be found.

Rosberg: "Untouchable you say? Challenge accepted!" *and another slight touch to his rear wheel* (<-- joke)

I expect Rosberg to be even closer in qualifying ... it has been the same for the last few races, Hamilton faster on Friday, Rosberg closer on Saturday ... I wonder how good Ferrari actually is, but i reckon they'll struggle to keep others behind them in the race

Topspeeds of just 34x km/h ... even with slipsreaming and overshooting turn1 ... :(

Indeed, nearly every F1 driver was taking the corner mid/exit with two wheels on the paint today.

Oh yeah, one of those long, long forgotten weekends... We'll see.
