So, after years of design changes and his own designs, he now normally uses an old Schumacher design, a Lauda helmet at Monaco and now Schneider. For me, the simpler the better. It’s a bit of a shame that PM sells the space on the Ferraris and helmets in their original logo colors instead of sticking with one overall contrasting tone. Even with a good and simple design, it gets cluttered.
They are allowed 1 special for the year. They need to follow the same fundamental design. Vettel changed his helmet several times but they were not changes to the fundamental design
I think they have based the colors of their helmets on the color of their country's flag, and coincidentally both France and Russia have the same colors.
