Perez saying tyres aren’t cooling down

Max did a double cool lap on mediums - push lap was a bit of understeer - gave up and said the tyres were $h!t.

Looks like a lot are struggling for tyres today

German Sky has Sophia Flörsch as expert commentator for practice today. Doing a pretty good job. Much better than Ralle.

Pecking order isn't obvious. Ferrari's long run pace isn't very good, but they often mess with their engine modes in a big way

It’s just mega for the tyre temperatures. Starting to get a few soft tyre runs in now

Hamilton was properly quick here last year and could have won on merit. But I’m not buying this p1. Supposedly rbr had lower trap speed than Merc so it’s probably down to engine modes and the Mclarens time on the medium suggests they would have been ahead on the same tire. Am also set their times much earlier in the session.

Its going to be a race of who can look after the tyres tomorrow. Supposedly meant to rain overnight so a green track again.

I have a feeling we will see some incidents in Quali with tyres overheating and drivers struggling to keep it on the track.

If. With all those updates combined with the low amount of laps + changing weather conditions this weekend, it's not a given.

Dont think much will change.

Whether there's engine modes/fuel in there that's hampering a bit of lap time I dont know. Its all much more evenly spread today for some reason.

The fall of Aston on a track that suit them like Monaco is astonishing.

They will be behind Alpine at this pace of fall… there is still half a season to do!

Im going to predict Max on pole. Then I really think its going to be close with Hamilton, perez, Lando. Hopefully Charles gets into the mix too.
