If Brawn won out of the box I'd be well p155ed if I was working for Honda! LOL
Too right, what a kick in the teeth that would be for Honda.

Good stuff so far from Brawn.

Anyone fancy skybet's odds of 150/1 for Brawn GP as constructors champions?

I might take that bet...

wow, nice looking car and apparently quick out of the box too!

It's good to see it isn't a dog which will no doubt help with sponsors but I'll be very surprised if they are top 3, me guess is top 5 and like rbr snatching occasional podims. 8)

Neat wings under the mirrors.

Exhausts covered properly now. I think the motors for the wings are under panels on the main plane of the front wing (laying down) using a aircraft style screw to affect the change.

That is an interesting take on the "gas cap." Correct me if I am wrong, but don't most teams have them flip up instead of swivelling like that? Best of luck to Brawn GP!

How about UPS as a sponsor for Brawn GP? A cool advertising catch phrase could be "What can Brawn do for you?" :D

They might be running light till they get a full time sponsor. But I do hope they're quick, just out of spite for Honda.

Running light? Naaah...out of the box just 2.5s faster than McLaren, that surprise you?

I guess we're gonna have to wait until the Spanish GP to draw any conclusions, but sure as hell no one was expecting that kind of pace, regardless of how light they might be running. After all, some of the other teams might as well have been running light: we just don't know! For now, looks like we're gonna have a very interesting season.. Go Rubens!!!

With all of the standardized components and aero regulations, it's going to be easier for teams to be quick out of the box from now on. The majority of development will be on chassis and wind tunnel.
No more worrying about new smaller gearboxes, smaller more powerfull engines that all have to be integrated into the system. Now they just have to build a chassis, drop in the drivetrain and go.
Too bad though that KERS will be standardized. Won't that defeat the purpose of having it, if everyone else has the same thing?
I was hoping that F1 would give KERS free reign. Then we would see some major innovation in energy recovery systems.

Has no one noticed the huge horizontal vane above the front splitter yet..? This strikes me as one of the unique features of the car.
