Will one of the Force India's be punished? If so, what kind of penalty? Time or Grid place.

3 place grid penalty for Sutil, what makes him start from 19th just behind Marc Webber.
Somehow what I had expected but I think thats still a moderate penalty for what we've seen recently.

"Nowhere" in the sense that they are starting rather far back and have not shown the speed/reliability/KERS effect to do a lot of passing.

Hey, I've rooted for the Scuderia for 40+ years. It's just that this year is shaping up to be a very tough one. Ferrari needs better/tougher mgmt and Alonso.

You're right, of course. But I think that Toyota's best hope for a win is for Glock to lead into the first turn. IMHO opinion (and I think history supports me) Trulli usually does very well in quali, then drives a slow WIDE car in the race.

Weren't the 2 McLaren drivers given 5 grid spot penalties for this same infraction last year?

The inconsistency from the stewards is appalling.

Actually it is to be expected, but still aggravating.

My pit stop data:

Glcok was lighter than Trulli, but the old Quali specialist did it again.

Kubica is very heavy, almost obecely heavy for a F1 car.

Seems that theres gonna be a good mix of strategy tomorrow.

Quite interesting to see Hamilton's MP4-24 with same amount of fuel as Buttons BGP-001. VMM's catching up?

I'm not looking forward to a Toyota win even with the qualifying results. Vettel will take this home on P1 (him getting into an accident notwithstanding).

Hamilton might gun it for 2nd and leave both Brawns (and the Toyotas, for that matter) fighting for a 3rd place finish.

The dark horse for the 3rd place tomorrow could very well be either one of the BMWs. But if I'm to bet on only one of 'em, it's on Robert). With Massa/Kimi both strong possibles.

so, the current order is toyota and red bull out in front....BRAWN and MCLAREN leading the chasing pact, with ferrari lacking confidence feeling the need to go heavy. amazing

JT much faster than TG on heavier fuel.

SV in great position for the win.

Expect LH to overtake JB on the start with the clean line & KERS.

RB slower than JB on less fuel.

FA light fuel and slow... bad Q3 lap maybe? Where is that famous 6 tenths FA?

NR & KR fueled up heavy.

Suprised Red Bull didnt fuel Webber heavy to maybe take advantage of a Sc situation, but those are rare in Bahrain anyway.

Sounds like brakes will be a big problem tomorrow... hope we dont see a huge accident with these long straights.

I wonder how long the option ties can last here. If they can last at least 16 laps it is conceivable that some teams might only use the prime tires once.

We could see up to 8 drivers starting on the option SS's...

Shaping up to be a very interesting race for strtegy wise... hope the SC can stay in the pit lane and not jumble everything up.

No Quali on TV in Canada for Bahrain.

This hasn't happened since I started watching religiously in the 90's. Never have I been unable to watch in Canada.

Speed is getting worse all the time, blacking out the quali, and no coverage on TSN like usual. Speed showed the practice at midnight, so WTF??!?!?!??!

It's not just complaining.

I want to know why. I have wrote Speed TV before coming in here, you know, this F1 forum, where other Canadian F1 fans may be?

You don't have answer? Sod off ISLAMATRON.

This is the right place, and the right people.

It is a thread about the Bahrain 2009 Grand Prix, and this is about the TV Coverage of said event. My odds of getting an answer, not a bitch/moan, in this forum are better then most.

I also have to depend on speed tv to get coverage; its annoying when they skip some of the practice sessions. I missed today's quali. so i don't know if they blocked that session. But i must say its pretty tough getting up 3:00 am to watch practice then 6:00 am to see qualifying.
I don't know how much longer i can do these kind of hours. :)
For Sure!!
