It was obvious that F1 would look better in HD. That goes without saying. But, I had no idea that it would be such a dramatic improvement.

The cars actually look faster because of the clarity of the picture.

I read somewhere that Practice Sessions are still in SD. Only qualy and race are in HD. Is that true?

Anyone know if the BBC are covering the F1 in HD ? I read that they were supposed too, but I've checked the HD channel and there's nothing scheduled ?

Well, I watched the last race in HD, and my Humax PVR is set to record both Quali and the race on Sunday in BBC One HD (Channel 50 on Freeview HD).

Seems to be, at least as far as Freeview HD in the UK is concerned.

Cheers, well apparently it's on SKY Channel 143, but listings on the SKY box are not showing it at the moment.
