I only use paper, paperboard, cardboard, a little bit of aluminium foil for heat shields, plastic for the windscreen and steel wire for reinforcing the suspension arms.

or simply in english,
good news:

Yesterday, I recieved an e-mail of Rob Marshall, Chief Designer of Red Bull Racing and therefore main technical responsable under a man, called Adrian Newey (maybe someone heard something about that guy  ). Anyway he offers me the opportunity of a year long work experience at Red Bull. If I am interessted, I should reply directly to him and not to the HR department.
It looks like (I don't know exactly yet) that I've to do an interview in Milton Keynes anytime. If I'm successfull, I'll take my bags for spending a year in England. Nothing fixed yet, but the chance is there.
Either way, I'll keep you up to date...

At Saturday, my RB7 will go on. I've a hard exam (thermodynamics) on Friday, that's the reason why it stands still at the mo.

Cheers,
Paul

Honestly, this is mind blowing. There are a lot of posts of models, and I must say I regret ignoring this thread this long.

I was on reddit.com/r/formula1 today and saw the post, it's getting quite a bit of traction outside this site, and the article in F1 racing drives it home.

Congrats PaulB. Incredible work that is worth the praise.

Thank you guys. Yeah, it's really very impressive, how far you could get simply with paper models.

Where are the secrets? Read my whole construction report and you'll know them. No, it's the complete package. Everything works together, there's nothing unusual. They transpose their good ideas and all their knowledge in such a clever way, so that the whole car works together... But that's for sure a great accomplishment. There musst be incredible intelligent and creative engineers which can do that. Adrian's thier chief, bringing in his ideas and conceivabilities and controls and examins their work, their own ideas and the implementation. And maybe someday I'll be one of that great engineers.

Hope they don't. It's better they'll use my knowledge to improve their efficiency and improve my skills and knowledge.
Cheers,
Paul
