And previously Lando was often labelled a pessimist. Well, the season is starting.

Perhaps Australia will suit the car too. There are no slow, tight corners there as such. And on tracks with plenty of fast corners, it should be fine.

The car was happier at Australia last year. We know it has some of the same Characteristics, it will be interesting to see how it fares over the next 6-7 races.

I saw it running today. Looked superb!! During the pitwalk I saw coulthard having a seat fit in it. I have pics but on other camera. The other chap wearing driving gear was the guy that just did the demo, think it’s a private owner. Sure I have heard him mentioned by Zak before, they are friends and he has a few McLarens I believe.

McLaren had a fairly uneventful test. I think it's hard to tell exactly where they are.
But so long as the package is good and they can develop it, there's no reason why they won't
build another rocketship as the season progresses.

Even if the car isn't there at Bahrain, it's a circuit that won't suit the car at all and that's why I think Stella and the drivers are being slightly negative atp

It has a rotary lawnmower blade attached to the front wing too. But from the front wheels back it is a thing of pure beauty. I wish we could go back to smaller cars where weight was less important.

It's not being negative; it's being realistic and continuing the downplaying of where they
might be in the pecking order. Expectation management is the name of the game for McLaren
and has been for quite a while now. It's about fine tuning the team at this point for Brown, ahead of 2026.
They might be in a position to challenge Red Bull in 2025, but we'll have to wait and see.

What I do hope we see is the resumption of the McLaren vs Ferrari fight at some point.
