Seriously, what kind of clowns sit on McLaren pit wall! Why can't be decisive and make decisions early to avoid embarrassments like this. Max almost pulled off that second place.
One of the worst things I've seen in 24 years of watching F1. If McLaren can't sort out basic team orders and team play they don't deserve to win either title.

They should hire you mate
I will be more than happy and I am certain, I will do a far better job!
They should have swapped them over while Leclerc and Verstappen were fighting. McLaren tend to be a bit slow when making decisions like that.
I get they were trying to preserve the 1-2, they got lucky today with the restart after the virtual safety car ended.
We'll see if Max loses points for the infringement, it looked at the time that he might have touched wheels with Oscar.
Not sure if they did though.
It was sheer dumb luck that we got time to swap after Hulkenberg parked the Haas. So many times we have seen race control throw VSC virtually immediately.
Poor poor race management by team. Why can’t they give that “swap positions” message early on when we had a gap to Leclerc?
It almost seems like they are afraid of upsetting Piastri. I mean, what’s the point? It’s not like Piastri is in the fight for WDC and literally everyone was expecting the swap.

Piastri was quicker. Whether that was just because he had clean air or not I dont know, but the constructors is far from won, a 1-2 in any order is the priority. For same reason, for once Im hoping Max dosnt get a penalty as thats more points to ferrari
