They should have swapped them over while Leclerc and Verstappen were fighting. McLaren tend to be a bit slow when making decisions like that.
I get they were trying to preserve the 1-2, they got lucky today with the restart after the virtual safety car ended.

We'll see if Max loses points for the infringement, it looked at the time that he might have touched wheels with Oscar.
Not sure if they did though.

Personally I am satisfied that all well that ends well. 1-2 with Norris and Piastri with Max under investigation and Horner crying again.
