It doesn't seem to be raining though it is cloudy.

Albon just said on F1Tv they will not be part of today's race, so, good news, one place up for Oscar, bad news, one place up also for RB drivers.
Unless Williams has a critical parts shortage I think Albon could end up starting if the race start gets delayed by an hour or something. A 3 hour turnaround for a broken car has been done before.
Maybe they went for focus on Colapinto's car, easier to repair.

Albon forced out of Sao Paulo GP following Q3 crash!

How many wings do the teams bring to a GP in case of wet weather? Just wondering if the wing on the Mclaren is chosen because they think it is best for the conditions we are going to have in Q and R, of if it is simply the highest downforce wing they brought with them.

At the moment we are gonna have an intermediate race start. It stopped raining though. However it may start raining during the race and its scary how wrong it can go.

Sainz changed PU and gearbox so start from pit lane. Also Colapinto start from pitlane. Other +2 for max 🤔

No. Max will remain 17 due to the penalty. I mean that will be his starting grid.

In the meantime the radar predicts rain 10 minutes into the race.

Here’s the official starting grid, no mention of Colapinto starting from pits, Max’s penalty is allied after Sainz grid start, engine penalty’s are always calculated this way to avoid tactical changes leading to only a position or 2 change

Now can we have for once a normal race, have the luck with us and gain as many more points as possible compared to the competition? The conditions are intermediates and drying but they may change again.

I am so worried with that weather. They might ruin our race with how luck is involved.

Days like this are just a diceroll. Just enjoy the race whatever happens. If they end up going out of the wdc contention here, it's not going to be this race's fault but rather a pile of missed opportunities over the season.

I will try to enjoy the race but I would prefer to have our top driver 1st avoiding any bad luck.

Sao Paolo GP commences. Let's give it our all Lando and Oscar. Let's make our own luck.

Agreed. They've done the best they can here, Lando was very lucky to manage to scrape through to Q2 so we should be super happy with the luck so far.

If it comes our way great, but the priority for me would be to extend the lead in WCC.

I just hope that at the end of the year the difference to Max is not smaller than 7 points (or 10).

The worst thing is that it will dry at some point and in 20 mins there is gonna be rain again. What do you do? Change to softs and then back to intermediates?

Aborted start. I don't know when it's gonna start but do you risk putting dry tyres? What a stressfull GP and what a mess so far.

Oh dear. Lando noted.

Aborted start vs Abandoned start terminology confusion.

What the hell did Lando started? We do not need 5 seconds penalty. Uoppfff...
