Renault R30

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Could it be that that is a base module for the front wing, with attachable cascades? :s

In FP1 Kubica tried F-duct (but had some problems with configuration) and Petrov tried classic, Hungary high DF wing.

Photos are from Thursday.

It's hard to tell. As Kubica said in Polish press, they have only FW changes and it's rather evaluation than something brand new and spectacular. On a photo above FW there are some black areas which were absent in earlier versions, but... we'll have to wait for other photos.

not only the Toyota stile turning roll on the endplate the middle flaps look different inside the wing adjuster mechanism towards the wingstays giving more wing surface...

TS says Renault will change to pull-rod suspension next year and are making a new gearbox design, that is one of the reasons Lotus will be using Red Bull rear end, as Renault couldn't make enough boxes for the start of the season. Who knows.

Maybe everyone will be pulling in 2011.
