I have no problem with this kind of nose, as long it is called the "Blanchimont-type"-nose or shorter the "B-type"-nose.
Please stick to this term from now on if you talk about this nose!

They should take a leaf from the stepped noses and prevent this... this kind of thing. Where did rationalism go ? It's obvious the cars will look like sh!t, they should intervene now before it's too late !

I'm quite surprised you guys are actually surprised. Having read most of the nose topics around here recently while thinking of my own possibilities, the one that scarbs came up with is pretty close to what I devised, along with some other alternatives. I'll write about it later on, but unfortunately my drawing skills aren't that great to demonstrate it this way.

In any case, kudos to Blanchimont. Remember the days when manchild predicted a hole through the nose cone, which Ferrari later materialised?

What can you do, ay? Whatever the FIA try to do to mandate a low nose section, the teams have worked to keep the nose as high as possible. The only way out will be to mandate a standard nosecose, and then imagine the stink that will cause.

Or just enforce a certain width from the nose tip and up.

Unfortunately I'm also not surprised at all.
In the given Regulation it immediately looked like a brilliant idea. Albeit an ugly one.
Anyway it is clear that this is now the Blanchimont Type Nose. And chances are there will be a few detailed variations of these to see in reality come the unveiling of the 2014 cars.
