Ferrari wont be able to hide their power unit speed here with the final sector. 1 corner and then all power unit to the line. should be easy to see. Ferrari will need to be 3/4 tenths up in S3 come Q3 tomorrow surely

Christian Horner is on Sky saying Ferrari are gaining 0.7 on straight line speed, but in S3 it's Max who's fastest, just, and Lewis is splitting the Ferraris too, all on 16.1x. So i don't understand

Yeah. watching and thinking the exact same. Horner saying they are losing 7 tenths is insane. and looking at sector 3, is just plain wrong

Bottas just sabotaging everybody, including his team mate...
He's quicker than Hamilton so his tactics are working great. 😁

Mercedes are quickest on the long runs, should make for an interesting race if Ferrari qualify at the front.

Max was stuck behind Vettel (and a Renault before that). Merc seem quick indeed but I don’t think this was an optimal run.

Yes it's anyone's guess atm, I don't know why folk think F1 is currently in a poor state when there's genuinely 5 drivers that can challenge for pole.

But the season is over and the teams have stopped developing. Each of them to a different extent.
What we need is competition like now from the beginning of the season. To be clear, I’m happy with current F1 nonetheless.

That's the nature of the beast though, all in all it's been a very competitive season car performance wise this year.

He just needs to time it just right =D>

Anyway today in the cold and partly wet, Ferrari used full downforce, i don't know if they keep it if the track warms up.

But not on the runs, he wasn't.

And yet RBR lost 7 and Mercedes 8-9 tenths to the Ferraris on the straights?
