Ferrari decided to sack Vettel. Fair enough, they should put whoever they like in the car. Someone that can get the job done.

To think of the basis that was provided to Binotto i.e the 2018 car and the place it is now, I don't see how he keeps his job?

Ferrari might be champions as early as 2022 with the mountain of resources and money they have and continue to get, but this is surely inexcusable?

I've heard a lot about Binnoto's credentials and how he's this wizard of engineering a lot of which I agree with but to the casual public so far, he's the most intelligent looking clown in F1 at the moment.

100%. It's been a steady downward spiral. It was most likely his decision to design/run the PU last year in the manner they did which led to the TD as well. If he reports to me, I'm seriously questioning if he's the right man for the job. I wrote a bit more about it on the SF1000 thread so I won't just repeat it here, but it's a mistake to try and have someone who isn't a leader to lead people.

Not sure about that. As I said above, he's culpable for the engine situation from last/this year, which let's be frank is a total disaster and lack of sound judgement. Not to mention he'd have signed off on the overall design concepts, both of which have been massively flawed.

It' seems that way because of the first sector that up hill and the lack of power in the Ferrari engines is really affecting them. Let's see what solution Ferrari finds to cut the gap for Sunday because qualifying is going to be pretty bad.

You are right of course, but can you imagine anyone going to Ferrari heads and saying- erm, look, I don't like this 'stretching the rules' stuff, I think we should stop doing it.

2+ seconds slower... Also they are slowest... I really do hope they find more speed for Sunday. To think they will find more speed for Qualifying is not likely.

More talk on Sky re: track limits on a couple of corners, and they are allowed outside of the white line on one, as long as they don't go over the yellow and red lines.

I still don't understand why the drivers can't be expected to keep the entire car inside the white lines. If they can be given a "track limit", then make it the white lines.

Totally agree. Keep it simple for everyone. It’s ALWAYS the white lines and some part of the car must be inside them. It’s hardly rocket science.
