That is what Mclaren has to exploit. All the loopholes that others might not have found yet to make championship winning car. If Honda did it then Mclaren who is a bigger and more historical name can do it.
Now is a new era and even though the budget cap equalizes the field, the reality is that there are still disparities in within the teams due to how much they have invested in their infrastructure, tools and personnel in the past… The advantages build during the non-cap years still has an impact today.
