No idea, but could it be a "magnet through copper pipe" kind of damper?henry wrote:Some interesting details
On the item labelled "heave spring" there is a label "Large Magnet".
Anybody know what that might mean?
On the chassis side however, chief engineer Peter Prodromou could have a slight edge if the 2017 regulations have indeed been based around the package put forward by McLaren, as reported by renowned journalist Mark Hughes.
I've read few articles during this year that Mclaren & RedBull were the teams which suggestions for the new aero rules were most accepted and that they might have a ''slight'' edge but I really don't believe in such advantage to be honestmclaren111 wrote:F1i.com - Nicolas Carpentiers:

No, the pictures show direct comparison between MP4-31 & 30 or the direct changes that were made.jeffers wrote:Does not make sense that the image with the "heave spring" also has a label at the top left saying "MP4-30 (2015)". Is this an old pic, or mis-labelled?
What really interests me about these pics are the liberal use of teletemps. The little stickers with what looks like a thermometer on them with a C on the top. The stickers either change colour or parts of the scale move up to indicate the maximum temperature of the part being shown.lio007 wrote:Great Pictures:
