How cool, that's like 1/3 or 1/4 of what a porsche costs in Argentina. I'd definitely buy that even though I had to spend the same amount in getting it functional.

Unluckily I have none :p

You might want to contact Sauber to see what information they have on the chassis. BTW whats the chassis number of the car, as i have pretty much every chassis on a database, i don't have the C16 on a accessible one yet, but might have some base data on it.

It would be cool to have that chassis back running again, just like the RA107-05 of F1 snake.

Had a look at the base data, and it can only be one of seven C16s made.

Two are on show, one at the Red Bull "Air Base" ond one other in another musuem.

Heres some photo resources:

As this is an old car, in relation to F1Snakes Honda RA107-05 some parts will be hard to come by, however some parts could be re-engineered in relation to the suspension and gearbox if Sauber can give you some help. Im sure they could give help if you want to get it running again. F1 Snake had a large enough list of things to do, but this one has quite a bit more to do, but id recon that if you could get a decent enough engine and a good gearbox internal set made up, you would have a good car that would give the thrill of a F1 car.

Again, this board im sure will help as much as it can, as there is a wealth and depth of knowlege that could come up with the solution needed to get this chassis back on track again.

No problem, all id like to know is what the chassis number is and then i can trace what races it was raced in. Maybe try and get a base amount of race distance for you as well. Which would get you started in tracing the history of the car.

Geearbox case data would give position of the suspension arms. I'd like to see that too.
