maybe dare I say it, they may recognize the constructor 'Lotus' has been in f1, and call it the T129 ? they called the exos T125 and they allowed Lotus Racing to be called T127 (which was backed by this Lotus), however they may not accept the T128 existed and may call it the T128 or T129?Byronrhys wrote:Could go back to the 'T' naming scheme, Type 012A anyone?
No it isnt! That is from 2011 preeseason...
I don't see why it would be 2011 pre-season, it looks nothing like the R31. Still, I doubt they would let photographers take a picture or their most prized possession so early on. I would think that that model might be for calibrating the wind tunnel, or for research to see what, if any, are the benefits of the skinny nose. I highly doubt the R32 will look ANYTHING like that!aleksandergreat wrote:No it isnt! That is from 2011 preeseason...
I agree 'Lotus 2012 Renault F1 car' for now, as we havent got a clue of the nameajdavison2 wrote:Why hasnt the title of this been changed yet? Seen as we dont know the name i vote lotus 2012 renault for now?
Heidfeld & Petrov smashed to many liveries! Too expensive when the stock price on gold is at an all time high!Tyler wrote:I really hope they change the livery for 2012.
I hope they keep the JPS scheme but tidy it up a bit with much thinner stripes.
I also hope they use proper gold paint for the stripes and not that awful cream colour they switched to part way through the season.
Any idea why they changed from gold to cream?
The livery on the R31 was gag inducing!
Maybe they could call it the Lotus 110, wasn't the 109 the last Lotus to compete in F1?
This is him sitting in the R29-04 chassis (Previously used by Alonso in 2009) that has been sitting fully ready since August for Kubica and his return. It has been sitting there with a 2011 steering wheel and a 2011 DRS rear wing since late October as well as the R29 had KERS and they put DRS to bring it up to 2011 regs so to bring Kubica up to speed with DRS.myoozikk wrote:Any information to be gained from this?
Agreed, and remove the red!Tyler wrote:I really hope they change the livery for 2012.
