I doubt they will test new aero at this point, that will just add complexity to an already complex test. There main aim is to get the engine running, and then benchmark it against the known quantity that is the current car. I wouldn't be surprised if they put in one or two laps of Silverstone in the current car to have something to compare against.

Double Edit: Just realised they are only allowed to run one car.

I'm sure they already collected the data from Silverstone this year. This is also the reason why the MP4-29H won't be different - they have to keep it as close to their benchmark as possible to get any comparative data from this film day.

well its does say "that some technical options for next year are already on the car." if they plan a new radiator layout for next year, im sure they will run it or...

Everything was ok and the engine did not break down. No realibility problems at all.

The car has been fast tracked, and 2015 aerodynamic ideas will also be trialled on the car during practice after Aerodynamics Head Peter Prodromou asked Boullier about the possibility. Sky’s Ted Kravitz says:

“At the moment, they are just going to test it on the Friday, but it’s a completely new concept which the wind tunnel is already saying will be better than this year’s car.”

Like other's allready mentioned; I doubt they'll be testing or using any new aero-parts today, since the primary goal will be to make sure the engine runs smoothly. But I do expect some new things in Abu Dhabi!

i'd be shocked if the radiators for the mercedes PU would just plumb straight in to the honda unit!
