It's not a simulator by any means. It's a simcade at best.

It is a simulator. Is a Formalu 1 2015 season simulator.

It has all the tracks, weather, rules, logos, voices, sounds, teams, practices, quali's, races and drivers.

It IS a simulator.

It never set out to be a driving physics simulator. which it is NOT. It did however set out to be a F1 2015 simulator, which it does a fantastic job of doing.

It has the names and brands and somewhat the looks of the cars and tracks but the actual content has nothing in common with the real world so even with your dumbed down definition for simulation the game fails.

"this save game is corrupt and will be deleted" - Can't believe they are able to sell a game that deletes your progress half way through a season. Hope FoM gives the licence to a company that tests the game for bugs before release.

The point was, what is the game simulating? It is simulating the F1 2015 season. And that, it does.

It fails to be a good driving or racing simulator with that part feeling very arcadey.

Having the licenses is far from simulation but anyway that's not what OP asked.
