It's supposed to be light rain a couple days next week, but getting warmer as the race weekend rolls on.

Yes it will be the hottest race of the year, so far. It'll be interesting to see how temperature affects tire performance.
I would like to see a wet race, Vettel, the two Toro Rosso and McLaren could give us a great race.

yes, a wet race pls; otherwise China will be like ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ with HAM or ROS on top.
Wet race would bring VET, RIC, VES, ALO in position
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Anderson/Autosport:
"At a circuit with long continuous-radius medium-speed corners like Shanghai's Turn 1/2 and Turn 13 onto the long back straight, a lot of load is put into the outside front tyre. In this case, that is the left front.

Turn 1/2 at Shanghai actually decreases in radius and comes back on itself, so in effect you are turning through something like 200 degrees, making it even worse on that left-front. If it is cold, this leads to a lot of graining which increases understeer.
- Without checking previous races: is it something like 1 SS 2xM or more stops? I think longer stints were possible but that was without SS.
- Even less excuses for Williams, new tyre rules are not enough to explain them under-performing.
- Merc > Ferrari

So what you are saying, is that they need help to catch up/compete, and can't do it on merit?

+1 In some peoples heads winning a championship means that car has the best everything and every person on that team is better than their peers on the grid even though that is never the case

And in some heads one bad wet performance means bad in all wet weather...

Various tracks will perform differently in wet conditions so the car's performance isn't the only variable.

Also, the car racing next week is not the same car as raced in Austin last year...
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Like in Suzuka '14 30 seconds clear ahead of the field in 5/6 laps.. And it's bad that you don't recall red bull opting for wet set up in Austin, unlike Merc and Ferrari that actually made the podium
