Just adding in my 2 cents;

Unless the hungarians have found a way around the first law of thermodynamics the power for the generator should come from the braking of the vehicle not the engine - otherwise there is no point. The energy to be stored wouold need to come from the engine (energy can neither be created or destroyed) so what you would gain from the push to pass system would have been taken away from the engine earlier. Much more sensible to find a way to capture some of the kinetic energy from the car as it slows down - so it's not exactly free, but al least you paid for it earlier without sapping the power used to build up the kinetic energy (i.e. speed...).

Just install a motor/generator to the engine with an electronic clutch. And just program the clutch to engage when the brakes are on, or when the push to pass button is pressed. The generator would capture energy while braking, and would have no negative impact when accelerating.

sorry to be nerdy, but what did I get wrong? 1st law of thermodynamics is conservation of energy (and as E=Mc^2 mass and energy are interchangeable).

btw, after your post I was curious to know if you have plans for world domination? If so count me in!!

Sorry too, Mikey. I thought you were referring to energy only, not mass. Another lame joke, I guess.

As for world domination, you probably are talking about my posts on aliens and F1 on other thread... they are the only obstacle left in our path.
