Thanks for sharing such awesome detailed photos.
It is very fascinating to see at what lengths F1 goes to in order to "hog out the material for lightness". I also heard that tidbit about placing bearings with the part number outwards from an aircraft mechanic once. It just goes to show that when they say F1 and the aircraft industry are related, it's not just an anecdote.
