“The fan should be king," he adds. "He should easily understand what is going on, and that is not possible with the current engine rules.”

Why does everyon in F1 think the fans are stupid?

HMMMMMMM

"The RB14 is currently wearing a special edition livery. We're keeping our race-ready paint job under wraps for the time being and will unveil it at the Circuit de Catalunya next week. The unfamiliar shapes under the paint, however, are here to stay."

OMG I couldn't care what engine is in the back. How awesome is that colour scheme. Clearly the title winner if the season was based on looks instead of performance.

It would be sad to see this livery be replaced with the classic RBR livery, this one is so cool, one of the best I've seen EVER

Can we start a social media campaign to get them to keep this livery all season??
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Sidepods are moved back Ferrari style....its just that as usual Newey has done a better job then original...this is alot less draggy solution (according to a McLaren aerodynamicst).

For me redbull's traditional livery is better. Their car generally best looking car on track.

So let me rephrase that.

You've been told by a McLaren Aero guy ( a guy who would have only seen the RB14 today as well, and didn't have anything to do with the design of the RB14 ....obviously, and therefor can in no way whatsoever have any data on the aero of the RB14) that the RB interpretation of the Ferrari designed sidepod intakes, are less draggy?

Unless Stepney and Coughlan somehow found themselves at these teams and didn't learn their lessons from Spygate, I have my doubts

At the glance, no Renault on the car to be seen? Renault giving the engines to McL was their first step in divorcing "we have many options" BS RB.
"The pattern of the last few years has been to launch ‘aggressively late’. This has allowed the design department the maximum amount of time to add goodness to the car before the cut-off point"

"It serves a purpose – but you wouldn’t do it if you didn’t have to, and this year we (Red Bull) didn’t have to."
 Hmm... Did they hire Ron Dennis to write press releases?
