Finally an actually elegant Ferrari, after a long time.

I think it's a beautiful car, although not every detail convinces me. In particular, the screen on the central console seems very poorly designed... And the front grille might look a bit more premium....

To those who say that this is a copy of the Aston Martin Vantage (AKA Mazda MX-5), Jag F-type etc: you don't know what you're talking about O:)
The layout (proportions, bodywork flow,...) is that of any classical front engined GT, a field in which Ferrari has a good deal of experience. The silhouette seems especially reminiscent of the cars like the 275GTB. If you really want to mention cars from recent times, it might kinda remind of the Maserati GT (front grille aspect ratio, cut of the headlights, bonnet, wheel arches, sides,...) and Maserati Alfiere (for similar reasons as before, and for rear arches and greehouse). The Aston is much more muscular and...well, different in pretty much any way. Same goes for the Jag.

Rumour has it that the Roma might actually share the platform with the Alfieri (which will have the V6 Maserati throws into all of their cars) ... it's either that or a coupe version of the successor to the ....uh ... California ...whatever the name is.

edit: The Maserati Alfieri might be 'dead' and they're bringing a different car instead (mid engined) ... if true then it would make the rumours that they turned that car into the Ferrari more believable ...

This car would have been better marketed as a Maserati.

It seems wrong for Ferrari.

They are building too many cars now and introducing too many new models, too quickly.

They have to be careful so as to not devalue the brand.

My first impression is that it could be called the Ferrari AMG GT.

Reminds me of the Ferrari 330 GTC of the late 60s. Very nice. Image
