OT: Ford v Ferrari (the movie)

The implication is that it refers to a place.

The Wrekin is a hill, its actually the plug of an ancient volcano eroded away over millions of years. It has a large circumference for its height so when someone from the British Midlands (where the Wrekin is) wants to say that 'you're taking a long time to get to the point' we say 'you're going round the Wrekin'.

I thought the movie was pretty good all things considered, the way things were back in those days just seemed more natural for racing enjoyment, everything is to data focused nowadays!
Christian Bales English accent is funny sometimes, some very tongue in cheek "tally ho" moments.
