The implication is that it refers to a place.
The Wrekin is a hill, its actually the plug of an ancient volcano eroded away over millions of years. It has a large circumference for its height so when someone from the British Midlands (where the Wrekin is) wants to say that 'you're taking a long time to get to the point' we say 'you're going round the Wrekin'.

I just saw the movie and I think it was great..... 8/10

boring movie with poor acting i prefer rush any time over this regardless my disliking of vfx generally
