Could just be me, but there seems to be some long winglets just behind the Halo and in front of the airbox/engine cover? Haven't seen that before, or at least to that extent...

Yeah there are some quite big winglets behind the HALO, never seen that

The France aggressive step that Haas have adopted for 2023 has mostly gone from the 2023 Ferrari
The inner portion is still high, this is the inlet of the floor. Outer portion is for vanes and vortex, so they've traded some drag to enforce this vortex as well.

Halo bodywork is also extra drag, so that could mean they are happy with power and drag
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Notice the bump in the undercut presumable from the impact structure (?).
Also some vertical inlets next to the monocoque?

What could this inlet at the undercut be for? Is this feeding the outlets behind the halo? Crazy

Shorter nose(connected to the second element now), tricky FW and tighter more rounded sidepods who encourage more air over the floor.

How on earth were they thinking when using those shrouds, when it was declared against sporting regulations last year? :shock:

Seems that Lower SIP wasn't changed position wise

So they have inlets at the undercut and outlets behind the halo. Is this a new duct loophole :lol:

Yes this is what I'm thinking. Crazy.

How could this be beneficial overall I thought the whole idea of their undercut there is to generate more and more outwash. I guess they can tune the drag by opening the vent to reduce stagnation pressure depending on the track?
