I have the iPhone app but I am not sure if I would want roaming charges just to see the live timing. The map is a novelty, it shows cars relative position from the live timing, but it is not aware of passes until the next sector time rings in.

The general admission sounds like it might be a good way to go for Friday and Saturday, and a grandstand for the race to be in the thick of it?

Is there combo tix?
I used one at Le Mans 24Hours a couple of years ago, I found it very useful, especially when there were battles on track that weren't being picked up on TV. I could go 'in car' and watch them myself :D

This is perhaps one way to go. Tickets not released yet, but you can leave your e-mail there and be the first to know.

I got my gen admission ticket, will be taking the train from Kitchener Ontario to Montreal Thursday afternoon.

I don't know where I am staying yet. I have a tent, I might just gorilla camp in someones yard, or find a lassie to accommodate me. I'm not too bad at that.

I have to phone the University tomorrow and see if I can still get a McGill dorm room.

Anyone want to put up a fellow forum member? Nice dinner will be on me.
