100% agree with every single thing Jacques says here.
Not only is it just refreshing to hear someone in the press speak like this, against the grain, against the usual anodyne PR dribble, but he justifies all his answers properly with examples.

amazing.
That's a lot of nails being hit right on the head by JV there. Never really liked him in his racing days, but this interview deserves a "+1"

Lazenby and Herbert already commenting on McLaren having problems during pit stop practice on Thursday.

Hopefully having those problems yesterday/now, means they don't re-appear on Sunday.

How can a team of that calibur still be struggling with a basic fundamental in F1 sport? Absolutely incredible. It really makes one wonder about the inner team philosophy and cohesion between race staff. Maybe the whole thing is really over Whitmarsh's head.

Wow, what a sensor rack Red Bull has.
"...and there, very much in flames, is Jacques Laffite's Ligier. That's obviously a turbo blaze, and of course, Laffite will be able to see that conflagration in his mirrors... he is coolly parking the car somewhere safe." Murray Walker, San Marino 1985

alonso's best time before the red flag with the old exhaust is 1:17:000...lets see what his best time with new exhaust will be!

edit: he just did a 1:16:570 -0.430 s

edit 2: i think its quite close to what u gain by the EBD in this rack because the two times were put in the closest together...later in the session he will improve as the track will improve as well!

edit 3: in 5 minutes he now did a 1:15:842 -1.158s from the non EBD time

He's in the 15's. The car looks fairly stable with the new exhaust.
