FWIW, In 2000 everyone was using the high nose and then in 2001 Byrne designs a distinctively low nose Ferrari compared to the others on the grid. Many thought they were nuts....but we all know how that low nose worked out, second Ferrari double championship with Schumacher. You know Prodromo knows what he's doing. He looked plenty at the stubby high option and chose against it. Merc chose to stick with it. Great. I like variety.

I don't see how it's a few kilograms. I think that's a bit of an exaggeration. It's carbon fiber after all.
