Already started the problems for Bottas.. he will miss most of FP1. Engine change due to an oil leak.

Are teams allowed to 'take away' tyres for testing back at base? or ire they limited to what they are issued at the track?
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

Poor Bottas having the worst luck. He was managing some issues in the last race as well wasn't he?

Vettel in his hot lap has had a top speed of 325km/h but he`s not in top 6 first sector speed trap ...
Meanwhile, at the same time, Lewis did his fastest lap with a 322km/h and he`s only on 4th spot.

So we could gather are at least 2 conclusions:
1. Cars do speeds beyond those top speed sectors
2. Having 3km/h more top speed it seems that Ferrari`s has a longer deployment phase than Merc but the question is it`s better knowing that in sector speed traps they are lower than Merc?

All tyres must be returned at the end of the event I believe.

Only way to test the tires is to have secret test with pirelli...

It would have been funny if tyre changes had been brought in and Mercedes was still up there. Not sure what the team bosses of Ferrari and RedBull would have said then.
I'd go with suspension rule clarification... Not sure how anyone would expect a rule change mid season when it would take at least a couple of months to build the 2018 spec tires.

Don't remember of a session with so many incidents. Now it was Vettel. Luckly he didn't crash.

If you're going to crash, Friday is the day to do it. Doing it on Saturday morning puts lots of pressure on the garage to get it ready for qualifying.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.
