The Vettel effect is a predictable cycle. Vettel's teams go through lows then highs. It's due for Aston to come good now.

Fittipaldi (Haas reserves) said he reckons Haas' performance is around 7th-5th, but if they have a track where the car is unhappy they could be lower than 7th fastest

Well Red Bull looks like the top car, it handles very well.
Hard to gage what Ferrari is doing, seems like they ran all kinds of weird setups, sometimes they understeer, sometimes they oversteer, sometimes(a lot of times) looked fairly stiff and always on the low drag side... can't tell what happens when they "optimize", it's still one of the top cars but i don't know how it compares to the RB.
Aston Martin, Red Bull light, handles well, very stable, very consistent, but i suspect a bit off on ultimate pace, but one hell of a improvement.
Mercedes doesn't look like a world challenger.

Looks ominous. After the 21’ outlier, F1 looks like it’s firmly headed back to the snoozefest seasons and dominant era’s.

-I think Redbull and Ferrari relationship will be like Verstappen winning and Ferrari boys being in the podium while Perez is 4th
-Mercedes doesn't give me confidence, I expect Aston Martin to catch them throughout the season
-Expecting grid to be closer, might see surprise podiums
-Expecting Ferrari focus on this season's developments to force Redbull use their Wind Tunnel Time on the second half to disadvantage them in 2024, we might see a good battle depending how close they are in the beginning of the season.
Only Switching Haas and Alfa Romeo, I believe McLaren will catch up later for 6th position
Also, even if AM starts ahead Mercedes at the start, Mercedes will take them later due to upgrades or more importantly Stroll factor

Yes, this is a reasonable modification of my ranking.

Perez needs to be up there fighting with the top 3 rather than those from behind. That needs to be a focus for RB IMHO
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

He seems to be fairly happy with the car. Says that both he and max are pushing in the same direction with feedback & looked confident at the wheel
