Heidfeld is going to fade and fade badly. He'll never win a race in F1, and he's not good enough to do it. My money is on either Kimi or Rubens. Kimi obviously does well here, and Rubens wants another win and is going to drive the wheels off to get it.

Congratulations to Force India and to all the people from India in this forum, from the bottom of my heart. I thought I'll never see the day. Frankly, this has been one of the most interesting years in my racing diary...

Totally awesome. Fisi is on fire.

Heres my data, whitch more or less says that Trulli will be on for the win, with Heidfeld in 2nd and Fisi in 3rd.

hmmm, I remember the same being said of Webber, and Button too... Heidfeld would not have made it to F1, and stayed in F1 so long if he were not a winner. If he did win, it would be a real win rather than the lucky first one's for Kubica & Heikki last year. Total # of wins of Heidfeld's teammates in all his years in F1? 1 lucky win to Kubica last year.

HAmilton starts ahead of both Alonso & Button yet you give them a better chance to score points... LH has more fuel, & KERS, and most of all he is faster than both... so what is your reasoning?

And? Button finally got a good car and he's done good with it. If Heidfeld got a good car I'm sure he'd do well, but I think Kubica would do much better with a better car. Webber has been robbed of more potential wins and podiums than anyone in our two quotes, so I'll leave that be. Heikki isn't on Lewis' level and his support most likely reflects that. That said, Nick won't outrace anyone tomorrow. The only real fight I can remember him putting up was with Alonso in France last year I think, I may be wrong. It just doesn't seem to me that Nick has that killer instinct.

Nick out qualed Bob with more fuel onboard today, has twice as many points this year and had more points total since Bob has been in F1, Nick is good, probably better than Bob... plus he weighs much less

These are my thoughts... Both Macs have been off the pace at Spa, not just one car like Brawn. I think their car is slower and Ham is flattering it. JB needs help from retirements but light running Glock is likely to leave the top 8, I see possibly RK retiring (NH always brings the car home and has the longest finishing streak in F1 history going right now at 31-32 races without a retirement). Rosberg won't likely get points as he is flattering the car. Of the top 8 qualifiers I only see RK finishing out of the points, And Webber's famous luck could strike him. Remember all it takes is a first lap front wing change and you are screwed. This forecast leaves two points paying slots available and I see Fernando doing another race like he did at Germany to sneak into the points. JB, like I said, would be very lucky/glad to get any points. BTW, Rubens seems to have gotten his starting procedure down pat after some difficulty in earlier races.

You sound like a NH fan. Last year when "Bob" won in Canada it was all because the team put NH on a different strategy PLUS NH had to let "Bob" through during one stint for "Bob's" strategy to work. If "Bob" had been driving for a rival team, and NH didn't have to let him through, all other things being equal, NH would have won that race fair and square on merit.

I view it as I view Mika Salo's "lost win" in 1999 when he had to give way to Irvine. Salo had it in the bag but the team ordered him to surrender it. I think Mika may now regret obeying but that is only speculation. NH didn't win because he obeyed. So anyone don't go telling me RK is a winner and NH isn't. I know the facts and the history. It was only last year after all. Plus RK is a cry baby.

“A Track Fit For Heroes… The Ultimate Challenge… A Real Drivers’ Circuit…”
29 | 08 | 09

Once a driver gets his F1 Superlicence, he is contractually bound to say that Spa is the ultimate drivers’ circuit for real men. But what do they really think? We listened to an unnamed driver do a lap. See below to see what he said…

Start: This grid’s stupid. It’s uphill. Wish they’d fitted a handbrake.

La Source: I hate this, I’ve never looked in front of me, I’m too busy checking my mirrors for the lunatic who’s charged up from the back row and forgotten to brake. At least no one’s going to criticise my driving style as the ‘experts’ reckon there is no perfect line through the hairpin. Thank goodness…

Eau Rouge: Oh ---! Downhill to Eau Rouge. If I ever get my hands on the first F1 driver who said it was no longer a challenge and easily flat out, I’ll make him eat what I’ve just done in my race suit.

Radillon: Why do they say it looks like a vertical wall? It’s just a road that goes up hill. Radillon? Sounds like something I could clean the mess in these overalls with.

Kemmel Straight: OK, here we go…. and er…, here we still go… and still going and on and, --- me, is this ever going to end?

Pouhon: Loads of corners here I can’t remember, though there’s one called Pouhon I think: Reminds me of what’s going on in my overalls.

Er… even more corners that I can’t remember: All a blur now: lefty, righty, lefty, righty bit. Must remember to tell journalists it’s really technical and puts a massive strain on the car and your neck.

Blanchimont: Not sure what this one’s called. I think it’s Blancmange. Apparently, if you’re a real driver you don’t talk about Eau Rouge anymore, you go on about this one, while narrowing your eyes and looking brave.

Bus Stop: Apart from the130R at Suzuka, is there a sillier name for a corner? We’re all millionaire racing drivers, so do you think anyone of us has ever stood at a bus stop or even knows what one looks like?

Start/Finish Line: There he is, my trainer, hanging on to the pit board and waving his fist at me. Does he honestly think I ever look at the board, when I’ve got a perfectly good radio link to my engineer? Oh ---, here we go again…

Kubica has had multiple engine failures this year though hasn't he? I think one was in China and the other was in a practice session right?

Racing should be decided on the track, not the court room.

where does Hamilton not standing a chance come in all of this? :P
Nice try, but if hami is flattering it, he just has to flatter the car for the whole race.
