Oh yea, when Schumacher and Hamilton finally have some kind of incident, we will see a fanboy melee of epic proportions.
That would be fun)))
Although we need some kind of fanboy fight-club area.

Amazingly, now both of the Schumacher brothers are driving for Mercedes. Ralf in DTM, and Michael in F1. I wonder if anything will come of it. Give Ralf thoughts of returning to F1? There is a shortage of experienced drivers at this moment. Or at least, some Mercedes PR stuff, it's just too good an opportunity for Mercedes to pass up.
Racing should be decided on the track, not the court room.

Autosport wrote:Schumacher to test GP2 car at Jerez

By Edd Straw and Pablo Elizalde Monday, January 11th 2010, 10:17 GMT

Seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher will return to action on Tuesday when he tests a GP2 car at the Jerez circuit in Spain.

The German, who will make a sensational return to Formula 1 racing with the Mercedes GP team this year, will take part in a private test at the Spanish circuit, using a GP2 car run by the Super Nova team.

A spokesperson for Schumacher confirmed to AUTOSPORT the test will run from Tuesday to Thursday. The German will drive the GP2 development car in the test, which has been approved by the FIA.

"Today's test marks a milestone for the GP2 Series," said GP2 boss Bruno Michel. "It is an honour and a privilege for us to have seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher help us to develop our car. The goal of the GP2 Series is to prepare young drivers for Formula 1.

"This test will prove to be very important for the future of our GP2 drivers and will be a confirmation of the high-standards and competitiveness of our Series. Michael's input and advice will be invaluable. I am confident that his knowledge and unparalleled driving skills will help us to develop a great car for next season."

Schumacher, who had to rule out a return to F1 last year because of neck problems, is not allowed to test Formula 1 machinery until next month.
I hope the weather will be better for the test.

Edit: Its on F1technical as well

It appears that Schumacher wants to do his driving deals himself. He obviously is not focussed on maximizing revenue from driver contracts but looks for other qualities than money by his employers. His salary dropped from over 30 mil € to 7 mil € as a result.

He doesn't apply this philosophy to sponsor income though. He retains Willi Weber, who is a personal firend, in his capacity of personal merchandise and endorsement manager.

It all seems logical as Schumacher isn't known for an extremely extravagant life style and has made enough money in his career.

This Youtube piece is most revealing of MSC's true character, ignoring the autograph-kid to kiss the blonde!

What a schmuck, do we really want this behaviour back in F1, should we have a poll?

Ive seen him do similar on the Melbourne pit lane after a race, walk out to a massive crowd of ferrari fans, only to walk back a minute later...

The year Coulthard / Hakkinen dominated they signed autographs for atleast 30min if not more.

Poor kid, his parents should be kept under observation by social workers. Exposing a child to such stress at early age can have long term consequences.

Kid - "Mr. Schumacher, will you please sign me an autograph?"

Schuey - "Nine"

Kid - "No, I'm ten"

Agreed, parents should know better than letting their child ask the Messiah for an autograph at his second coming.
