Yeah, and Webber wasn't a happy man in the interviews either. I hope they don't take each other out. It's evident the gloves are off ..

THE BOSS again out classes Button, no surprise there

Massa closer to Alonso and with the cleaner side for the start, should be interesting.

Good job by Kubica & Petrov

Williams with a good showing

Buemi did a great job to grab 11th

the Mercs are struggling for sure

di Grassi finally shows something

Karun outdueling Senna

SpeedTV sucks!
One of the Red Bulls will retire due to mechanical familiar, probably Kettle!
If The Boss drives a smart race he should come out of the race weekend looking pretty sharp and increased his lead slightly But not a knockout blow.
We may have the enjoyment of another on track smack-down between The Boss and Fred
One can only dream!

Did anyone notice that for the first time in a long time the entire qually order was the same as the order of fast lap times?

BTW Tazio it's pretty bad when that you have to pray that the fastest cars break in order to see the race you want to watch. Maybe you should get some of those special glasses that don't show the Red Bull cars.

FYI I was referring to a dice this weekend between Fred, and The Boss I offered up the prayer for Fred to have a shot at making up for Canada.
Sorry you misunderstood my post I'm actually indifferent to Red Bull!
I haven’t posted on this forum for a while;
I can understand how you misconstrued the context of that comment!

I heard an interesting story about the reason Smith left.(or at least a major contributing factor) If true it smacks of two things: Lack of ambition and/or lack of funds..

I understand he's still parking his beemer in his usual space out front but how they can continue with his input knowing he's off early next year is weird to say the least.?

When Keys left someone remarked "Keys wasn't all that and besides we have Smith and he's the real brains here"....VJ is just on record saying "no one is indespensible" but Smith to them was as close as you get..Hopefully he has already started headhunting some best brains PDQ or next year it will be back to the back..

It appears -from this distance- things have been getting progressively worse since Simon Roberts was snatched back to Woking...possibly coincidental, who knows?

Either way I hope they get a few lucky breaks and grab a couple of points here and there..

Yet you are certain of Renault overtaking Mercedes..... #-o
To write off Mercedes as "dead in the water" and promote Renault(who have fared worse)as better is intrinsically wrong.

~Mercedes may pull a rabbit out the hat? Renault could produce a duff upgrade, its not beyond the realms of possibility now is it.

I will be here Sunday to remind you of this brash prediction should it come back to haunt you.
 Looks like renault are clear of mercedes for good. I was a little disapointed with FI, who looked stronger in practice but still a good showing from kubica and petrov.

It's not sunday yet, but judging by the type of track, i don't think mercedes are going to move into the top 10, which is filled with 5 strong team pairings.

Well done to the top qualifiers.

Perhaps Webber did not feel like congratulating his team mate. He looks a bit miffed. I hope Seb makes the best out of this advantage and takes 25 points in the race. It is time that the reliability problems are put to bed.

Webber made a slight mistake, he could have been on pole, but as usual Vettel is the time attack king and has the composure.

My race predictions are as follows:

After first lap Hamilton will be P3, Vettel P2 and Webber P1.

I think the Ferrari will be the underdog of the race, they sure as hell looked good on them harder tyres and as long as the rear end of that car doesnt blow up or catch fire they should in line to finish on the podium.

If the McLaren of Hamilton pushes hard enough he could force the RB's into making a mistake or two, and if Alonso joins the fight it will all get very interesting.

If McLaren come out of this with 4th and 5th they would have done very well, but considering they are racing the same package as 2 weeks ago, they did very well in qualifying. Don't know where that Ferrari thread went but shocked he wasnt P1/P2?!

Looks like there will be some racing at the front early on, so I expect Vettel with his as of yet unseen racecraft to fall behind.

I think Vettel will get a good start like usual, but he has still yet to prove to the world he can do anything if he hasn't just gone out in front and walked away, which the RB6 does not capable of this race.

Unless of course, there is something I haven't seen that other have.

I'm also getting sick of Vettel's finger in the air. I like the kid for the most part, so I don't know why his bull horn celebration is bothering me.

Oh well, we'll see what happens in the race.
