Mercedes GP W02

Brawn has stated they have a total of not 2, but 3 front wings they have been playing with.

As for the rear wing, the beam wing is now angled more and is a full length beam wing opposed to before when it was cut in the center where the ending part of the chassis was located with the brake light housing.

The sidepods are substantially more skinny at the back end for a more vacuum packed appearance. There is a good before and after pic a couple pages back on this thread.

I guess he probably meant the new front wing (with the new cascades and all), the old wing with the added slots, and just the old wing. So that makes three of them.

The main center part of the diffuser looks curved and pointed in the middle, maybe this works with the flip up and exhausts?

^ Right click, properties, copy the link and past into the address bar. Worked for me.

Here it is anyway:

Things I have noticed today:

- Schumi is sticking to the old FW
- They seem to have taken off the vanes at the back of the floor, just behind the exhaust
- The new sidepod inlets actually seem quite a bit narrower than the old ones
- The gills on the sidepod sides are back today, so probably there to stay
- The new brake ducts don't seem very different

andrew, =D> - didn't guess the right click trick as there appears to be simple text only.

Just wanted to see the "rooster tail" behind the car, not that one can make technical conclusions out of it. :)

He probably put the link to the page not to the image into the tags.

Can anyone show me the new exhaust?

I remember that temporary solution which looked quite strange.

The starter hole also seems to have disappeared.

It wasn't there from the begining of this test. That's where the angled starter coupling comes into play.

Starter hole is just about visable in the picture, but it is there.

It's offset from the centre to the right. In the photo it's right next to the first (longest) strake from the middle.

Not sure about that. Is this what you mean n_smikle?

Is the starter hole still in the diffuser, and if so, is it further back now that the starter seems to be accessed from above?
