he´s probably talking purely corner deltas.
So that´s chassis time they are missing i think.

I'm sure Alonso and McLaren and Honda are well aware of that. They're not exactly fighting Hamilton right now, and focusing instead on their direct competition.

Anyway, as for today's race and the lack of grip, can we bet on Button for a surprise result (smooth driving should pay off as it limits sliding).

I counter that bet with Button not finishing the race, or finishing crippled because of reliability. Prefer you to be right though.

They normalized the contribution from the engine I figure.

The only thing Alonso and Button are fighting for is the exit :D

I do hope Mclaren have a decent race to end this crappy year off.
Myself I'm looking forward to the long run down to turn 1 at the start, I could see if it ends up being exciting because of this,
Bernie suggesting they move the start/finish line back at a few tracks like Monza
I'm going to assume Alonso's using the exchange rate between the Euro and the Peso to work out his times

Might be a good opportunity for Kimi to set the record for most cars passed before turn 1, if there were such a record.

How long do you follow F1? 2 days? do you know what track condition is? do you know what track evolution is? his numbers are correct and they refer to end of Q1.

Nice try, but Hamilton on mediums, therefore your argument fails. Also, 1s of track evolution in 25 minutes? Sure thing.

Also, from your profile: "Most active topic:Mclaren MP4-30 Honda"
Much objectivity.

Rosberg was the fastest in Q1 not Hamilton

And if hamilton puts on softs he's easily 1s faster. Alonso not comparing apples to apples at all.

Rosberg set the fastest time on softs and was 1,3 seconds faster than Fred. Comparison is valid. Even though ROS/HAM were not running on full powerprobably.

Does anyone know where I can find sector and lap times for Q1?

F1.com

I don't agree Q1 is giving any relevant comparison. The front runners aren't going as fast as they can - they do only the time necessary to proceed to Q2. If you want to compare ultimate performance, compare each teams' fastest lap over the weekend.
