Well, nostalgic people lately wanted the marlboro livery back, so there you go .

If the sharkfin connecting to the rear wing wasn't banned, they could actually have finished it.

Btw, a fun little fact is that Maurizio Arrivabene has a marketing background and was/is involved with the Phillip Morris deal, specifically with the Marlboro branding. It's highly likely that if that is going to be the new livery, he definitely is behind it or atleast has more than a hand to it.

Doubtful that's the intent. Phillip Morris basically decides how the livery looks like. You can bet on it the intent is subliminal tobacco advertising. I'd throw that on happy coincidence.

Agreed, especially the previous supposed livery that surfaced the interweb featured a white triangle in front of the cockpit very a la Marlboro. I wouldn't be surprised of the onboard camera would have a great angle to film it un an angle you would see it like the package. We could've have a season full of subliminal, heck I might even start smoking without noticing. It's also funny how, at least in here, the Marlboro package don't say Marlboro, they just have the symbol, just like the car...

on the nose, italian flag are not the same. one is under Kapersky, other one finish before.
bargeboard and mirror are black on first one, red and white on second.
INFOR under the big Shell is on the first one, not on the second.
rear wheels are different too.

This is not livery according to F1analisitecnica. They are good with their info so I would take their word for it.
