But what about all those plugs along the end plates? They're far below the two wing planes, they're orange round plugs.

Not at all - they're exactly coincident with the position of the two planes of the wing.

McLaren chief engineer Peter Prodromou says Mercedes’ W08 is the 2017 F1 car that has impressed him most so far, and that its T-wing concept is a development path that his Woking-based team is evaluating.

They do seem to align with the wing profile. More importantly, the plugs itself draw a (rough) wing profile.

What about it? That NTT logo is exactly opposite the main plane of the rear wing.

How many wing adjustment plugs do you need.

It appears that the answer is 8 in McLaren's case. They've had this kind of arrangement on their rear wing in previous years too, it's been for swapping out parts and adjusting AoA every time.

McLaren set to complete a filming day in Barcelona on Sunday, which will represent the first on-track running for the MCL32 after an extensive development phase.

Hopefully we get to see some on track photos today before the testing phase starting tomorrow.

Agree. Looks so much more effective than last year's.

Also really like their Bargeboard. Suspect the end at the floor to change a couple of times during the year though - track specific most probably.

From the top view the "Tub" (where the driver's legs are), looks quite narrow to me.

Is it my imagination ??

Motorsportweek.com:
McLaren’s approach to the new sidepod regulations, however, is neat. The rules require a backwards diagonal line from a point on the chassis when viewed from above – the floor, rather than the bodywork on top, has been used to meet this criterion. This has enabled the team to focus on shaping the sidepod intakes as they desire, continuing with their inward facing inlets from last year to best cool the internals. The narrower bodywork and a traditional sized airbox as a result of this thinking will help reduce the car’s overall drag.
