Did anybody catch it?
The maximum lap time for Qualifying is 1:43.00

I'm glad they are doing that. Makes a lot of sense and it's the same for everyone.

Helmut will go on a rampage if Red Bull are 5th fastest tomorrow afternoon.

I think Max will be within half a second behind fastest Mercedes. But I’m afraid the black arrows will then disappear into the sunset more than in any other race this year.

Mercedes have got this in the bag, looks like a certain Bottas pole as he will be running second.

We know highest engine setting in race is worth 1s over normal modes (horner to wolf comment for bottas' fast lap in spain), and quali mode is worth another 1s over this I'd say, so pace will drop significantly.

Predicting no car under 1.21
Already in the 1:20’s and it was only practice

I think the team will not let him run second in both laps during q3, not when that much laptime is available via the tow. Or, they will send them out far enough apart that neither driver can get a tow from the other.

Unfair that if you ask me but I can understand for the championship.

What price Seb getting engine trouble, pulling over & sitting with his cardboard cut-out to watch the rest of the race??
