The run to t1 is not long, maybe p2 is better than p1 for the start?

Looks like RB are running a bit lighter on fuel from the onboards, and Max is using a lot more track than Lewis at the moment. The Mercedes looks stable so far. But both need more front end in sector 1, that’s for sure.

Could it also be how much grip the track is offering? I haven’t heard feedback about it yet
I haven't heard anyone complain yet. Right no Max is fastest in sector 1, but not by much over bottas, 32.765, vs 32.812. On his fastest lap he had a small tow in the final 2 drs sectors and it didn't really seem to help!

Verstappens fast lap was on a pair of softs that were 8 laps old.

I think Max' tires were even older. I'm sure they're both sandbagging as much as they can.

T1/T2 can become interesting on sunday :D

One of the things i don't like about the F1 tv data screen, is that it tells you nothing about tires other than the current compound.

I’m not sure that there will be much action down to T1 on Sunday. The run is quite short, so the pole man just has to swerve to the inside as soon as possible to cover off a divebomb attempt.

The Saudi circuit is awesome for F1 cars. The onboards are just amazing.

I fear the race will be held back by fuel saving.
