Funny thing that through all that adversity the RBR is still the fastest car by half a second on most tracks; It's a nice platform to build on for next year. I think this was Vettel's best chance to win a chapionship; the car was there in 90% of the races this season. He is going to have a hard time in the next 3 years with Alonso, Massa, Hamilton, Kimi, and maybe Rosberg.WhiteBlue wrote:Interesting Quali and then the race today. For me the titles were decided by the FIA decision to allow double diffusors. The RBR was the better car IMO. Vettel would have been a worthy champ as well. It went against them at the green table for some very dubious reasons. But all those ifs are history. Brawn pulls off an incredible stunt to take over that team free of charge, get himself Merc engines, win the first half season and have the luck that all the races are split to many other winners. It is a fairy tale which I belive will continue very soon as the Merc works team. The Red Bulls will come back strong next year and I can't wait for the next season to see that unfold. Button made hay while the sun shone and deserves the title for making the least number of mistakes in a superior car. Next year his weakness in qualifying will probably prevent him from doing it again. Rubens was true to his old self and never won a race in Brazil. I guess he never will.
